This year we are offering 2 levels of navigation courses (bronze and silver) in line with the National Navigation Awards Scheme (NNAS). These are nationally recognised courses supported by the UK Mountain Training Board, Royal Institute of Navigation, Central Council of Physical Recreation and the British Orienteering Federation. Certificates and Badges are available to anyone passing the courses.

The courses will be based around the Pitlochry area in Scotland.

Bronze
This is a 2 day training and assessment course. The first day and part of the second day is covered by the training and part of the second by the assessment. During the assessment a distance of about 5km or 6km will be covered on fairly easy ground.

Silver
This is a 2 day training and assessment course (as for Bronze). During the assessment a distance of about 5-8km will be covered over paths and moorland.
