Wilderness Trips by Canoe
Canoeing in the "Rough Bounds Of Knoydart"

This is a 4 day wilderness experience culminating in an ascent of 3 remote Munros - namely Sgurr nan Coireachan, Garbh Chioch Mhor and Sgurr Na Ciche in a remote area called "The Rough Bounds of Knoydart".

Day 1 - We meet you at Loch Oich, a small loch situated between Loch Ness and Loch Lochy. You will learn all the necessary skills to paddle your canoe for the next few days. Accommodation is in a local hostel where we discuss the programme for the next 3 days.

Day 2 - Drive along the north shore of Loch Garry and onto Loch Quoich where we pack our canoes and head west to an idyllic camp site at the end of the loch.

Day 3 - Rest day or climb up to 3 Munros. The weather will dictate which route we take but the going is always steep and rocky. We return to the same camp site as the previous evening.

Day 4 - We paddle back along Loch Quoich hopefully assisted by the wind to our vehicles on the north shore of the loch.

The price includes all food and hire of all equipment including camping gear if required except for a sleeping bag or walking boots.
